I got fax numbers for a couple collection agencies through the Bud Hibbs website. In people's opnions, would faxing a DV request plus a 'do not call me anymore' letter (using the template from this website which is great) work?

Or is registered letter the best method?

Registered letters help you retain proof of your correspondences to them. Once you send it registered try faxing as well.
