Nice to read all of this!! I am not sending them a dime and I am not even going to waste my time on them. I will file a complaint on them and hopefully they will leave us be!!

Just from personal experience and dealing with Anthony Galloway (another bogus co.), I would stop paying them. I forked over close to $400 and then finally realized that they weren't legit. I can't get my money back and the loans that I was supposedly paying back, never received a dime.

Do NOT send any money to Bass and Assoc. Try to contact the original lenders and work with them. I would also ask for validation on the debts. Bass and Associates are crooks!!!! They have so many complaints against them its not even funny.

Jackson Phillips
I have had recent interaction with Jackson Phillips. A woman called my house, rude as can be, left a message that unless I took action by cob that day, yada, yada, yada. Based on the information I got from this site, I called her back and told her pdl's were illegal in my state, that I had contacted the AG's office and they wanted a copy of my contract. I told her I was prepared to do that, but what I wanted most of all was for the loan to 'go away'. It was a 300 loan that I had paid 180. I told her I would only pay them the remaining 120 I owed. She asked me to hold on, came back a few minutes later and agreed to it. I completely bluffed her. But what she DID tell me was that it most likely IS illegal in my state. I did the same thing to three others with the same result.

I believe they are. I live in Arkansas. Office front pdl's are legal. It's a gray area as far as internet pdl's. The AG office wanted me to file a complaint. I haven't yet but plan to on paydayloanyes. Another huge complaint I have is that the company I took the loan with, the company that debits my account and the companies that call are ALL different. I think they do that purposefully. Try to confuse.

There is something else I have noticed. I see every court case filed in my county. I have NEVER, EVER seen a case where any of the internet pdl's were plaintiff's. I have seen some store front pdl's file but never an internet. That also reinforces that they are not legal. I also could not find where any of them were registered in my state.

Ass and Associates
If anyone is actually considering sending any money to Bass and Associates, you need mental help. If they can not send you an official debt validation, then do not send them money. It is also against the law for them to report a debt to a credit bureau, without first following the legal paths, such as sending a validation of such debt. If they do report you, you can enjoy the benefits of THERE money to compensate you for mental anguish and other illegal practices. Throw a litle harrassment and extortion in there too.

Internet PayDay Loan
Most Internet PayDay loan companies do not wish to enter the courtroom. It brings too much attention to their other activities; such as dealing in states that they are not licensed in. If you get a loan from a company, which you find out is not legally allowed to make loans to people in your state; take the money and run. It is all yours, and they dare not make a big issue out of it. They would rather lose a couple hundred dollars, than lose thousands in fines and penalties.
