Internet's first get-out-of-debt community - 145,000 members

Google's not giving me much help with this one. They've called two or three times over the past few weeks. The message on my machine makes it pretty clear that it's an autodialer (you can tell because there's no sound for a while, then it suddenly connects and there's a lot of chatter in the background). All I ever get is, "Hello, [my first name]?"

206 is Washington State, of course, and I don't know anyone there. The only info I found in Google was someone saying it's a cable company in Virginia, but that doesn't sound right. Can anyone help?

Are they trying to collect your past debt?

Find a call back number of this company and know the origin of this account if it's yours and pay. They will try to list it negatively in your credit if the debt is legit. And your scores will be hurt.

I think this is a scam, they asked you all these question then they want to know you exp date on your card cards. I told them if they had all my info they should know my exp. date.then the lady hung up on me.Questions like how old are you what do you do? how long have you been at this address and so on.

Yep sounds like a scam. Next time they call tell them you are not interested and to take your number off their list and not to call you again. I got a few similar calls a month or so ago and that is how I got rid of them.

If your numer is not registered with the government "DO NOT CALL",please consider registering it.It reduces the number of sales calls quite a lot. I have a land line and two cell phones on their database. Once registered,if they call they get first warning. After that they can be legally obligated to pay you a fine when they call. Please read up on it because there are exemptions to the rule.Go to www.ftc.gov and click on privacy,then do not call.
