Email I just received from Westbury Ventures

I just got the following email...I havent made a payment through my bank. I have also filed complaints with this company. Is this a "generic" email or is this legit...I'm guessing since I havent made any transactions with my bank (which is a different bank all together) This email isnt for real?

Please give input! Thanks

I have attached an additional means of repayment for your convenience. I will look forward to a payment of at least $250.00 in my office no later than 3/16/07.

Tweety, if you have never done business through your bank, I wouldn't be too worried about it. Have they validated this debt with you? If anything, I would write them and ask for a payment history, etc...Karen

No, I have sent certified letters to them and I havent heard anything from them. They wont give me anything in writting....

This is a generic letter from Westbury. You will find this sample letter in different threads here.

Give them a call and get the actual standing of your loan and work out payment arrangements. Once paid, get the account marked "PIF" in writing.

Thank you for your input. I know they have gotten my letters.....I even address it ATTN Ryan Hall.....This company is terrible.....

Tweety, This is a generic letter dont worry about it. I would send complaints in to everybody that I could. Start with your Attorney General. This company went down in WV no longer allowed to do business. Of course they were not supposed to in the first place just got busted. LOL KYSIDE38

Definitely file a complaint w/ your AG's office. This company gave me headaches until I filed my complaint. They harassed, threatened, etc. They ended up refunding me.

Defineatly file the complaint, they will not stop until they see you are not going to play cat and mouse with them. The sooner the better. You can file a consumer complaint with you Attorney generals office online. It is a simple process. Make sure you print it out so you have a copy of your control number.
