I received a letter from these people Dec.2006.I owed
Direct tv 203.44 I have been in coversations with Direct tv,it seems they have a collection on my credit report of 899.00.this is for equipment that I supposedly did not return.After several phone calls to
someone in MAMAGEMENT they admitted the eqipment had been returned in 2005.A letter is being sent to credit bureaus to delete this.Now my question.I have the 203.44 to pay,do I send it to direct tv ? this is the amount showing up on my credit report.Or do I send it to Riddle and assoc.and pay the extra 98.00 for their fee?

I would see if you can make the payment directly to DirecTV. If so, make sure you get a paid in full letter, and also make sure they notify Riddle that they debt has been settled. If you can save $98, why not? You could buy me some pretty nice stuff with that $98.
