I thought the person worked for democrats as well. Oh well. My mistake. But it may be useful having somebody who works for this company to answer questions. This poster must handle BMG or Publisher accounts and I think they were just letting others know that if you owe any type of bill like this, then you should expect a call from this company. Alot has been said about them on this board, it may prove helpful to others if somebody were here answering questions.

Just curious - when they say "Publisher", do they mean like Publishers Clearing House or something? Sorry if that's a dumb question. Embarassed

Guest- Management is on the side of keeping this board what it needs to be-helping others. I have PM management numerous times when something is not right with the boards, and they have taken care of it. I'm with Fins- tired of all the back stabbing..Karen And before someone makes fun of my spelling or punctuation, I have arthritis really bad in my hands and do the best I can!!

Doesn't Allied collect for book club accounts as well? I thought I read that somewhere. I wasn't sure what this link was about until I read it.

Mishele, a couple years ago they tried collecting for a history book club account that I cancelled and had returned all the books to the company. I kept trying to explain to AI what I did but they wouldn't listen and kept screaming at me for the money. Eventually they gave up and i never heard anything about it ever again.

They collect for Time Life, too. Years ago I ordered some of those CDS they always advertise. I cancelled after about the second one, and yrs later Allied contacted me with a bogus bill. They aren't very pleasant, but eventually they got the picture.

They are a local ca, they have an office right here in town..They collect for every single business around here.

I know they sent me a letter a couple of years ago regarding one of my book club accounts that I cancelled. Time was done and I didn't owe anything. I had to go through the song and dance of clearing that up. I thought it was them but it's been so long that I couldn't remember. Lucky you Fins! LOL!
