Hi: I had a payday loan out with 500fastcash and
way overpaid them by $600.00. I called my bank to
stop them from withdrawling from my checking acount and fax 500fastcash the template letter from Polly's blog saying to stop debiting and the they are illegal in my state..basically everything that needed to be said. Anyway, today they sent through some kind of
sneaky check for $545.00. What should I do?

Missy - Call your bank and tell them that that "sneaky" check was an UNAUTHORIZED attempt to withdraw funds from your account. Have your bank put a stop payment on it.

You need to contact 500 fast cash as well stating that you have paid them and you want your account closed and marked paid in full.

YOu need to contact your states attorney general as well.

There may be another regulatory agency in your state - such as the department of banking or finance, that you can also complain to.

Do this ASAP.

Talk to your bank and make them block all the debits from 500fastcash. They won't be able to take out money even if they try with a different amount. Recite the laws to 500fastcash and claim for a refund. You must get your account marked "paid in full"

Thanks for the help...I contacted my credit union
and I have to fill out affidavit for fraud check
and take it to them Monday morning..I will contact
500 fast cash too...I will never do this again:)

Missy when you fiil out the paperwork for your credit union make sure you also include all the alliases they go by. 500Fastcash is MTE Financial/Rio Resources/ and they also go by these other alliases: United Cash, One Click Cash, Paycheck Today, ameriloan, You are approved to 1000,Quickest Payday Loan,Emergency Cash, Payday online 2 1000,Ten Dollar Payday. Ah also make sure you write on the top that you are revoking ach for any amount from 500Fastcash and all alliases. They are very sneaky. As to a refund I doubted, I am still fighting 3 of them for refund or for a Paid in Full letter. On one of them I got the credit union to refund the amount they sneaked an ach for $390 last Friday and on Monday I believe it was, the credit union put back into my checking account the $390. Expect nasty phone call and emails, especially their "form letter" which is send to everybody (see forum)in which they acuse you that you "cut and past" the letter you sent them. Good luck

union refunded my money this morning:)))...SpanishEyes...these people really have all of these aliases..wow..that is good to know..thanks for the information.
