i took out a loan with a storefront payday loan place called wisconsin auto title and payday loans.. i went into default with them.. and about 2 mounths later they offered a settlement.. i took the settlement and payed the reduced balance got a recipt and a paid in full letter.. this morning they called me twice i didnt pick up cause i was busy.. should i call them and see what they want or there now trying to go after the remaining balance.. what should i do? anybody ever had something simuler happen to them

Call them and see what they want. You have your PIF letter and receipt of payment. So if they are going to try to take more money, you have all the proof you need that you are done with them.

Call them and ask why they called you. Maybe they want you to come in for another loan lol Wink

But if they are trying to collect on that loan. Contact WI Department of financial institutions and file a complaint. I have her e-mail addy (we have been working together on payday lenders) I can get it to you so you can contact her right away.

When you went into defualt for two months didn't they come take your car. Or were you making small payments. I know they do not have a grace peirod let me know how that worked for you my email is personal email address removed by Shazzers, against TOS rules, you have revived a year old post, please pay closer attention to the date when responding to threads. i think puddle had it right.i had a garnishment with all credit lenders in illinois.they called this last friday asking if i needed any type of loan.these places are amazing.

I owe them money that took my car around 3am this morning I have no way to get it back and I want to know what the minimum might be to get it back any answers let me know. I still have an 1 hour and half before they open

dee...you will need to call them to find out what you need to pay to get your car back. We have no way of knowing what your terms are.
