If you investigate with the better business bureau
bbb florida type in campos chartered law firm hit enter. you will see this firm is rated very high with an A-. they have thousand of clients, one person was unhappy and they gave a refund. what more can you ask of a company. A lot of competitors use these boards to try and damage the competition.

It seems like Cajunbulldog has a thing for campos and hess cause if you check on all Law Firms they either don't register with BBB cause they do not need to pay a fee just to get a rating but they must be licensed with the State Bar Association and you can not just pay a fee to be a member there. If you planning to hire a law firm to handle a settlement for you than all you can do find a firm that has been around long enough to have a strong relationship established with the creditors to help negotiate a good settlement. Remember you have only 3 options when you can't handle payments with your creditors anymore, 1.Either start saving as much money as you can so when a bill collector calls you and tries to settle with you, you will have a good lump sum to resolve a settlement with them. 2. Hire a Law Firm that has the experiences to negotiate for you and set you up a trust that you can not touch to built up your funds. 3.Sit and do nothing and wait till you get sued and let the judge decide of your outcome. Bottom line there is no guarantees of your outcome when you do not pay on time but only one thing you can do is begin self discipline and re-organize your financial well being again whether you do it on your own, hire a company to help or have the courts do it for you!

If you do your research thoroughly you will notice that Hess Kennedy is a very large firm that handles thousands of clients from various areas when it comes to finances not just settlements so therefore with the amount of unsatisfied customers are the ones that are mainly enrolled in doing debt settlements which they all expect quick results. If you look in the BBB at all your major credit card companies they have thousands of complaints more. BBB is a good tool just to breifly read on about the companies opened but they grading system is unregulated and not updated properly. Example: look up Toy's R Us, some are graded A some are graded F? another example: look up a utility company plenty of complaints( T-Mobile, At&t,Cingular)Look up the Four Seasons Hotel that plenty of celebrity stays at, they are not even a member with BBB why? Bottom line is this there will always be people complaining about something, but what makes a different is what type of complaints they are complaining about and how that company went about it to resolve it. So if you want to save from all the headaches of reading blogs about complaints than just pay your bills on time. Remember if you can borrow the money than you can find a way to repay it back!

Thanks Cajun.... Looks like the threads of the past are starting up all over again. Hess=rip-off, so any company associated with them is most likely wallowing in the slime right along with them.

Cajun, just cause Hess and Campos has something to do with eachother doesn't mean they are in the market to rip people off. All major creditors are linked withother. MBNA wrote the new BK law and congress passed it. Alot of major companies are related so if you are trying to emphasize a bad company than you must be warn that all companies in America are rip off right? Bottom line is consumers need to start paying back what they owe and when they can't and they hire a law firm to help them they get upset when things aren't done right. Lawyers can do so much to help but they think lawyers are gods and can solve everything. So just to make matters simple, Pay your bills on time so you do need the services of a law firm to help you negotiate!

As previously stated I have no need of your services as I have zero bad debts. I simply want the correct information to be given to our forum members. If you are on the up and level then you should have nothing to worry about when I am doing background on your firm.

Cajun what you are doing is right but I think what the people are looking for is how to go about searching for the right company to help them resolve their debts, and all I am doing is informing them the absolute truth about when participating in such programs like debt settlement they need to know that actual truth about it over all no matter what Law Firm represents them the fact of the matter is that when they get involve in this type of program(Debt Negotiations)it is not program that will solve everything when you still have outstanding debts owed. So for the consumers that are looking to go this route just read on what I have to tell you and use your common sense and logic!

First of all I am not defending any companies it is just funny how the subject is just focused on these companies when the truth of the matter is that consumers need to have a real understanding is that when they choose to participate in a debt negotiation program and hire a firm to handle the settlement for them, they need to have full understanding of the risk factors that still comes with the programs. When you have an outstanding debt out there and you stop payments you put yourself in grader risk for the creditors to come after you. I was simply trying to give an understanding about how settlement actually works so the main focus is to educate on consumers about the involvements of being in a program and not just focus on a company.

does anyone on here even have debt? or is it just that you all have way more time on your hands than any productive adult should? researching ONE marketing company and ONE law firm to such an obsessive extent is absurd and represents vast ignorance on yalls part.

are any of you aware of the fact that there are thousands of settlement companies and lawfirms that negotiate debts for consumers?

or do all of you represent industry competitors whose business has shrunk due to mr. campos' recent bar licensure?

its the continuous obsessive naysaying on this thread that I dont trust.

if youre reading this, and you have debt, just research your options (negotiation/counseling/consolidation loan/bankruptcy/doing nothing) and decide what you think is best for you. dont listen to any of these uneducated hotair ballons with too much time and nothing useful to do.

Why is every time we post useful public knowledge we are attacked? This site has lots of different debt companies in our topics and it is hardly our fault if your name keeps popping up.

I agree cajun! To answer your question, America, yes I have debt, and yes, I did and have researched my options thoroughly. As for the focus on Hess Kennedy, I was totally burned by them, as have a number of other consumers, so anytime there is mention of them and someone considering retaining their services, I am going to warn them against it.
