The debt I have has been in collection since 2005, but I only recently discovered it on my CR. They had been sending the collection notices to the wrong address for 3 yrs.! Can I still request validation today, even though the debt old? is there a SOL on requesting validation in California? Thanks for any help....

You can request debt validation at anytime, there is no statute of limitations on getting debt validation. goodluck hope you can get this straightened out.
