Other than it's a landline in Rancho Bernardo, CA, I'm finding zip on it. Just got a couple of suspicious calls from it, back-to-back.

Unclewulf, I called and it is a residential #, some guy answered and I told him I had the wrong number. I only tried as I thought the number looked familar(but I was mistaken) and it is definitely an unlisted number.

Just an FYI - many, many foreclosure sales deeds are made out to properities in that town. I can look into it.

@ kolodin616: Thanks for checking. It was likely just a wrong number. But the way the woman presented got my hackles up.
@ Bea: A good thought, but nothing of mine is in danger of foreclosure. I'm a renter.
And I've never dealt with either of the banks you mentioned.
@ Ladybug: Oh no, not I! I'm a Southerner, living in exile in Vermont.

that is what I thought. It is so cold there in the winter time...I live right in the middle of good ole midwest and it is freezing cold here in the winter..this last winter was pretty cold..more so than in recent years.

I like my winters, because I love cold!! (but hate ice, and too much snow) I cannot take the heat like I can the cold.
But alas, the heat is here, and here to stay.

i'm a renter, too just making sure though because i know i see that a lot on foreclosure deeds when they go back to the plaintiff.
i'm so paranoid, too when it comes to different numbers or whatever.
