hi

Does anyone know what right a credit collecing company in the usa has over a british national who bought a house in florida but is a citizen of the uk. long story short 4 years ago my father passed away and i went off the rails and ran up huge debts - tried to declare bankruptcy but could not, not one debtor was interested in settling for anything less than what they were owed so i started a new life in the states and got my self going again now the company in the uk is trying to go after my house in florida is that possible even....?

any help would be great
