i just began having problems with ACS-- but here is the kicker--Its not my debt--or my husbands!!! It is because of my husbands ex-ewife!!!! She gave out OUR number-- a phone number that my husband got AFTER they split!!!!! And-- this isn't the first collection agency that has called here for her. I have given them HER info, but every few months this starts back up again! Anybody know of anything I can do to stop it?????

Send them a C&D letter. Unless your husband was a co-signer on the card/loan they are trying to collect. If he's a co-signer than he's just as responsible as she is.
