So-are these related, one of my loans was with Emerald, which I had overpaid-Emerald started emailing me, saying they were gonna turn me over to AIS, I got an email from I collect Debt saying that they had turned it over to AIS. Received a phone call yesterday from a lady saying she needed to set up payments for Emerald(she was from AIS), I told her i had overpaid and sent out letters to the BBB and Iowa Division of Banking, and I would forward this letter to them for them to see, she declined and said they would forward my account to their attorney.
I received an email 3 hours later from ICollect Debt saying their account with Emerald and me was now closed and No further Collection efforts would be made....
did i scare them or has anyone had this happen.
For me that is now 3 PIF out of 11 loans, 2 more have agreed to payments and the other 6 have not contacted me and it has been 2 weeks.
Payday Loan Yes and Cash2Day4U have been the worst to deal with so far
