My wife had some debts from her first marrige, ais was one of the collection agencies,we settled in full with them 2 months ago by phone, and got a confirmation number.they are still calling me to collect!! so i contacted a supervisor who told me yesterday that our account was settled, paid in full, and we would not hear from them again.this morning they called again saying ,no the account is being disputed and is not paid in full and i must be confused,so i asked to talk to the supervisor again.he told me the agents dont read all of the notes on the accounts.the agent treated me as if i was lying or stupid and never returned any of my calls to him,but its ok for him to call my residents and wake up my 5 month old son as often as they feel like doing.2 months and they cant tell me where my money went or if i even paid.when they called us a month ago trying to collect and we talked to a supervisor he said he would look into it.he said he got no responses and he would physicaly go to the accounting office to get answers.dont trust them with your money get names phone numbers extensions and time and date if you pay them any money.i have never delt a more disorganized company in my life.

AIS Services is a joke. if you continue to receive calls inform the collector that you want AIS to produce the documents that you owe this debt. if they dont they cant do anything to collect the debt. when AIS purchases credit card debt they do not get the documents from the originating credit card company. hope this helps.

I dealt with A.I.S. 2 years ago, and had an account which wasn't mine closed and taken off my credit report. Luckily I still have all the information, for they just sold the debt (which really was not mine) to another debt collector. I would think that it would be illegal to sell a closed, fraudulent account by reopening it!

yes it is illegal.you need to go to NACA.NET and find a consumer attorney who will sue this bottomfeeder on a contingency basis.time to teach a scum collector a lesson.

I got them on the phone. Apparently I had disputed with a third party (law firm) who was collecting for AIS for MBNA. When the law firm excused my debt, telling AIS there was no chance of getting money due to not being my account, AIS took the account back and sold it to another "law firm".

I just got a call from them, I'm actually excited at the opportunity to see what they are trying. I used PDL about 5 years ago, twice I think. Then it became too expensive and I stopped using them after paying them off. I don't owe on anything else, so I'm hoping they come up with something imaginative for me. It should be fun talking to them tomorrow! I kind of enjoy being able to have the deck stacked in my favor, with all the good cards in my hand.

AIS called me a few times trying to collect on an old PDL from a company called timberhole. I had paid what I had borrowed and then some, but they were illegal, and I told Matt from AIS that they were collecting on an Illegal loan and they needed to stop calling and harassing me. Matt appologized, didnt push it or argue, so must have known he was collecting on an illegal loan. Never heard a word since and that was back in november of 09. so I guess we will see if its really over, or if it gets sold to another agency.

Can you guys tell me what to do? AIS LLS is harrassing me daily with rude phone calls. I have never heard of the company and have never in my life taken a loan of any kind from anyone. I owe nothing to nobody and never have and not only that but I have never heard of such a place until they began trying to say I owe them $400. I am very angry and I tell them as much. I am not polite and I dont think I should be. They call me and I tell them to f*ck off and leave me alone but they keep calling and now they are calling my work? How did they get my work number and how do they know my full name and cell phone number? How are they getting away with this? What can I do? Do these people actually have a building where I can go and confront someone face to face? I would much love to see them be this rude to me in person. It would make my day to put them in their place. I wont take this kind of harrasment at my place of work, and I will gladly confront them physically if necessary. This is beyond harrassment that they call me and take me away from my job to demand I pay something that I have nothing to do with. The fact that they are rude as well is making my blood boil. Help me figure out how to stop this or if you have an address where I can find these people calling me in person then please offer me the adress.

. I keep getting calls (messages, I don't answer) from different people who say different things. I think that only one has mentioned AIS, or I wouldn't know what to look for online. If they won't identify themselves or what they want me and my call for, they can suck my debt all they want.

Why don't you report them? If you are being defrauded by this company.

they should be sued if they defrauded someone, but should be reported for harrasing people about illegal debts.in fact alot of people have reported them as i have.this forum is also to share experiences as well.don't assume because people post they haven't filed complaints.
