Can any one tell me if payday loan lending in Alabama is illegal? I have had some collection agency called IAG, LLC send a verfication of employment form to the payroll department at my job. What are my rights and how can I stop this?

Lending of payday loan is legal in Alabama. You can check out the usl payday loan laws from the following url:

Send a debt validation letter in writing to the collection agency.
