Ok so now my brother calls me and says i have a message on HIS answering machine. So he lets me listen to it.... first of all they ask for me using my maiden name! I have been married for 23 years!! WTH? And secondly, i do NOT have any outstanding bills.... only negative i've ever had was the lovely CACH!
So what do i do now? Call them? Umm... never mind, i'm NOT calling them!!!!
Let them find me if they dare! *evil laff*
Anyone hear of them? I did a search here but all i came up with is they're a CA in Houston, TX.... not much info on them.
Who is United Recovery Systems and Collections?
SIGHS,
Ang

Well i have true credit who monitors my report for me and i haven't recieved any changes in it....
So i'm guessing they're NOT reporting.
This has me very suspicious!

Well the only reason i even thought of calling them is for my own curiosity!! But before i do that i will make sure to be able to tape the conversation and i will NOT call from my home phone!
But if they're trying to find me using my maiden name they will have a hard time finding me!!!! Like i said i haven't used my maiden name in over 23 years!
I'm SO not all that worried more so than curious!

Citi Financial Account. I essentially told them I would send them a money order on or before the 15th of each month in the amount of $100.00. If they didn't like that, PURSUE! They accepted my payments.

Don't pay them a penney!!

Probably what happened is, that someone that has your first name and maiden name took out a credit card, loan etc., . What I am trying to say is- they skip trace all the time. I had someone call for my husband they said-exact same first and last name. I knew he didn't have anything with them, and after talking with them found out they called our number because of the same last name-nothing more. And it turned out that someone had exactly the same first and last name as him!

Someone, ironically, has the same first and maiden name as you, so in their skip tracing, found your brothers name, since his name was the same as yours--Good grief- I have confused my self Anyway-don't pay and don't worry. Your brother can say that he doesn't know anyone by that name- which he doesn't anymore!!..karen
