They sent me a letter yesterday stating I have 3 options to pay them. One was a payment of $2000 up front and the debt would be over and the other two payment options were for 3 months and 6 months. I dont know what to do. Can anyone please give me some insight? I am so aggravated that I wanna just pay them so they can leave me alone.
Also, I havent even brought up the violation of trying to collect within the 30 day window of them trying to collect while my debt validation was going on. If I am going to focus all my energy on them I just need some direction on where to go.
SO SHOULD I COPY MY INFO AND SEND IT TO THEM LETTING THEM KNOW THAT THEY ARE IN VIOLATION? I HAVE THE GREEN CARD THAT I GOT BACK WHEN THEY RECEIVED MY DV LETTER AND THE LETTER RIGHT AFTER THEY TRIED TO COLLECT AGAIN. THIS OFFER LETTER HAS BEEN SENT TO ME AFTER I SPOKE WITH THEM OVER THE PHONE. THAT WAS WITH NO AVAIL. THEY SO MONEY HUNGRY OVER THERE AT ASSET. I AM THE TYPICAL AMERICAN CITIZEN. PEOPLE LIKE ME JUST DONT HAVE $2000 LET ALONE $7000 JUST LAYING AROUND. I KIND OF 50-50 ON JUST SAYING THE HELL WITH IT AND PAYING IT AND GOING ALL THE WAY TO FIGHT IT.
