Okay, everything I'm going to discuss is about my husband's credit report, but to make life easy - I'm just going to say "I" rather than ..my husband every time. Please bear with me as I need help with a few different things here.

First problem is with LVNV Funding, the bottom feeding scum suckers of the universe! They are attempting to collect on an old First Premier card that's scheduled to die off in Nov 2012. They appeared on my report in 12/2011. I received NOTHING from them, no dunning letters, no phone calls, nothing. We've lived here for 3 years and the address is UTD with all three CRAs. These scumbags have reported to all 3 bureaus, with 3 different balances, 3 different expiration dates, three different "types" of accounts. EX and TU are reporting as an installment account, EQ is reporting as collection account. I've disputed with all three CRAs and all 3 have come back verified. (not surprised) How can 3 different balances be verified? Do I owe $332, $334 or $335? So anyway, I filed a complaint with my state AG for violation of FCRA § 1681S–2(a)(7)(A). Is there anything else I can do? Obviously, I'm not paying them at this point, the debt is close to dying, but it's still not fair what they're doing.

Second, this is the really interesting one. I pulled my free annual report on 1/8/2012. I looked it all over, made notes, printed them all out. Well, in the meantime I signed up for a free trial with Privacy Guard. So I get a message today that there's a new collection account listed on my Experian report, so of course I go in to look. It's a company called RCS/CVF Consumer Acquisitions. So I go back in with the report # to electronically view the previously pulled Experian report. Well, now, out of the blue this RCS is on the Experian report, but it wasn't there on 1/8/12 when I pulled the report....and the report date is still 1/8/12. This RCS was NOT there when I initially pulled the report 21 days ago, yet it states that they've been reporting since August 2011. So if they've been reporting since then, why was it not in the report the first time I looked at it earlier this month? Sounds odd, right? To top it off, these jerks have never sent me any type of letter or anything either! So I filed another complaint with the AG. I've disputed it with Experian, I'm sure it'll come back verified, anything else I can do? Do I have any recourse with Experian? Being that they claim it's been reporting since August 2011, yet it wasn't in the reports I pulled in 8/11, 10/11, 12/11 or 1/8/12, but all of a sudden IS now!

Moving right along ..... the last one is Trident Asset Management, collecting for BMG. I have sent these idiots 3 DV letters and have gotten no response. I've called them and have been told that they'll send me proof but have received nothing. BTW, didn't receive the dunning letters from them either! I've never ordered anything from BMG as I knew from the start they were frauds. They claim I owe $72, but won't show me proof that I owe it, or what it's for. BMG is now out of business so there's no way I can contact them about it, but I know darn well I've never, ever ever ordered from them! I disputed it with the CRAs and as usual, it comes back verified, and they won't let me dispute it again online, I have to do it via mail. How do I handle this?

I really would like to buy a house some time this century, every time I get this cleaned up, I pull my reports one last time before I apply for a loan and BAM, I'm slammed with this crap again! I finally got the scores above 640 (which is what I need to apply for the USDA Direct Loan) and then slam, they're back down to 515 and 575.

Hate to say it, but if you had paid the debt, the account wouldnt have been assgned to LVLN. Chances are they will assign it to someone else and a new tradeline will pop up;.

They bought an account that is both an installment and collection account so dont see a violation there. As for different balances, interest continues to accrue so balances can vary based on the last reporting date.

Your balance is low so they are not going to waste the time calling or writing you. Other than the first notice which probably went to an older address, there is no requirement for them to do anything except sit on it.
