Default How fun it is to turn the tables on CACH!

Ok so i settled with them and have the letters saying if paid by XX date then this will be removed and all liens canceled yet i have NOT recieved anything from them since paying! So now it's MY turn to harass them! How many times can i call in a day?? I've only been calling them once a day, EVERY day for about a week now.... I can tell that Mr. Robert (who told me to call him Rob when trying to settle) anyway, Rob, is getting VERY annoyed with me!
Wonder how many people he talks to in any given day? Cuz he forgets what he says to me from one day to the next. Fortunately i don't!
Oh oh maybe if i get a recorder and when i call him on Monday let him know i'm gonna start recording our conversations now!
This is kinda fun!

Ang...go for it! If you have the time to call them 4 or 5 times a day...do it! I know they've called me at least that many times in one day. Give them a taste of their own medicine!

Be careful on that, you don't want them to try to file a harassment suit against you.

You're right JCEMT.....I did see a court case where a company filed against a consumer for interrupting their business.....since most of the business was done by phone.

Keep at it! That zero balance letter is EXTREMELY important! Anytime you pay in full or settle a debt you need to get this letter. It is your reciept and your shield.

It's not about being a merchant not really. Some companies aren't set up to sent this letter automatically. It's up to you to get the letter.

A company not sending a zero balance letter isn't always about trying to get more money later down the road or selling it to another agency. I've actualy only seen a handful that's actualy happened this way and it has an easy solution provided you kept documentation, bank records or reciepts and you know where to get your letter.

They owe you this letter, it is a part of the agreement. You can't be harassing them if you are simply calling to find out why they have not sent it, especially if this Rob guy can't seem to remember what he said from a day ago. Definately record it and if need be, play it back to remind him what he said. If he is getting annoyed, remind him that as soon as you get the letter promised, you will go away.
