Good morning

Has anyone ever heard of or dealt with CBCS? They call using an 800 Service phone number. They do not leave a message.

Any comments would be appreciated

Please avoid return to that call. I guess they are a fraudulent organization, (though I don't know their true identity but they are neither telemarketing organization nor a collection agency).

They are into some sort of scam which requires your valuable information to be disclosed to them. Just hang around for more inputs from other members.

CBCS is a collection company. Their website states that they are licensed to operate in all the 50 states Shocked

I am not sure whether tweety and I both are talking about the same company or not. She can be right too, CBCS can be into scams. Rolling Eyes

I almost had to deal with CBCS and they are a collection agency. I never had contact with them because a medical bill I had was sent to them by mistake. If you do talk with them, just be cautious in case it is a scam. Try to deal with them in writing if necessary. They should have sent you a letter stating that they were collecting a debt anyways. And even if they are a collection agency, you do not need to give them any personal information. Never give a collection agency permission to withdraw from your accounts.
