I had a cc account that went to 2 different ca's.I sent dv letters to both of them and never heard back from either one.a couple of days ago I got a dunning letter from c&s.I plan to send them a dv letter too.
I expect them to probably file suit so I will be watching carefully that they don't pull sewer service in the hope of getting a default judgment. |

Sewer service? I like that one, I'm guessing you mean they just flush the summons and civil complaint.

That's what I was thinking. It's really easy to get those vacated for improper service though.

slamowitz and cohen; they will find you where ever u r they have found me all over; every number; every account; every address. Beware of them. They do have a judgement against me. I do not leave money in the bank. They call 24/7 they will never quit. They r my nightmare in real life. Over $1,700 that I simply do not have right now. Do not put credit card info on the internet. Just trying to help you all.

The debt is only valid if you say so
DO NOT ADMIT THAT THE DEBT IS VALID. You do not know what makes a debt lawful so do not make this legal determination. Even if you spent the money, this does not mean the debt is valid. If you think that the debt might be valid ask for validation of debt before you settle anything. If it is valid, the lender will be able to verify the validity.

To those who wonder how the law firms get your account info, they look at your address/s and send out court ordered information subpeonas to any banks within a certain distance from your address. The banks are required to send to them any information they have regarding you and your accounts. The law firm then sends a court ordered restraining notice to any bank you have an account with stating that they have won a judgement against you for said amount of money and the levy is placed on your account. The bank can also usually charge you a legal processing fee over over $100.00. Wonderful!

or these wonderful pdl's sell the info you gave them when you were a victim..er customer of there's.most of these places are not in this country and would have a hard time getting that info.unless there illegal tactics work and the victim,uh customer gives it to them.the last place that called me had my old NATIONAL CITY account not my current one.so i some cases not all of there info is legit.

These idiots are leaving prerecorded computer generated messages on my answering machine for someone I do not even know!
These morons are so inept that the message states to hangup if I am NOT that person and if I continue to listen I am admitting that I AM that person. Well, how the heck can I do that if I am not even there and the completed message is already on my machine. |

Those calls are annoying. The best you can do is call them and tell them to delete your number from their list as you are not the person they are looking for. Tell them you don't even know that person.
I had cell phones that other people had the number before me and my family. I would get the same calls 7 times a day from Nelson, Watson and associates. I finally called them and told them. We never got another call again from them. |

Hey I also have something happening to me Cohen and slamowitz related... and I don't know where else to look for help. I am just a 17 year old teenager who just received an automated message about a debt collector who is collecting a debt and it tells me to call back at 1866 540 8950. So I call them... and they have no cases with my name on it. What scares me is they asked for my social security number. I only gave my last 4 numbers and that was it. They told me they can't find anything unless I give the full number so I hung up. I started looking it up online and 1866 540 8950 isn't even their number. I also see there are lots of complaints and harassments about this company and I'm starting to get worried. Please help

They have been known to falsify court documents in order to freeze accounts, banks have no idea they just see a court order and do it. How they get your information I have no clue. My husband has since closed his account because of fear of them freezing it.
