i signed up for the credit alerts through my bank and this morning I got this new alert- marked New Account- and this is what is says:
New Accounts
Date reported: Reporting Agency: Experian
Company: ASSET ACCEPTANCE CORP Account Number:
Address:
Balance: $0
Telephone: Type: Collections-non-specific
Company Bureau ID:
it's all blank! can they add an account with a $0 balance? that doesn't make any sense!

They can't legally. I would suggest checking your Experian report to get more details on it. If they have left anything incomplete you can dispute it as incomplete and have it corrected or removed.
If you have any further questions please feel free to ask.

Definately check into that! Make sure to check your other credit reports as well and see what's in there. If it's incorrect or invalid, dispute it and get it off there.
