Hey any of you guys know if I absolutely have to or should show up to court if a civil suit is filed against me for a credit card? And does it really matter the card is only $4,000.00 is it worth to do anything at all since you guys seem pretty certain they can't garnish my wages, I don't own anything else.

Thanks

Bottom line time here, Smack: Do you really want the judge to take their word for this? They could say whatever they like, true or not. If you're present, you get a say. Show up.
