I received a phone call from eastern credit company saying that they had a received a civil action suit against me from quikpayday loan from june 2004. I was so scared to have to go to court that i set a payment plan with them for $200 on 11/14 and $200 0n 11/28. Unfortunately on 11/14 i did not have the funds available so the payment was returned as insufficient. It truly was not intentional but i am unemployed and receive a direct deposit. The direct deposit did not post until after they had already sent the payment. I am a single mother, now unemployed and am really at my wit's end. I live in virginia. Does anyone have knowledge of pdl's in virginia. Is there light at the end of my very dark tunnel?
