I think that everyone that posts their brilliant comments on what is legal and what is illegal should really brush up on the FDCPA before deciding to make a post. Take into consideration what state you live in as well because each state has different laws. I think the point I would like to make is that you owe a debt that you created yourself and instead of trying to hide from it make arrangements to start paying it. Everyone of you is complaining about the tactics that collection agencies use to find you. Did you ever think for one second that instead of swearing and telling people that actually have nothing to do with the position you put yourself in to do what you have to do, maybe just maybe you should try to work something out. Most collection agencies are very willing to work with you but you insist on pretending to know the law and being as vulgar and rude as possible to the collectors. The credit card company didn't put a gun to your head while you were signing that contract nor did you read the fine print about over limit fees and interest. Hmmmmmm, should you be blaming yourself?

no we shouldn't how's that for an answer.the FDCPA is pretty clear, and if a cc company wants to hire a bottmfeeder to collect so be it.sorry but the only ones who are vulgar and rude are the collectors.when a person says...i'll pay in payments if i could,or can i get an address to send payment.the collector threatens jail and/or garnishment.owing a debt is not a crime, just how humanoids like you attempt to collect it is.back to the phones drone.

Those 'bottomfeeders" are more the exception than the rule.

Greystone Alliance, Tony Fisicaro / CEO President, 1-716-218-4800 ex 4811
Danile Frisicaro/ Director of Support Services 1-716-218-4800 ex 4868
You can find their names on the website, I say call them and inform them of any harassment. Maybe they will stand up and take notice!
