Hello, DebtCC Forums. I'm OPArsenal. Nice to meet you, too.

I found this site while I was at work a couple of days ago and I've been lurking since then. I don't know if "y hello thar" topics like this are frowned on, but at any rate, I've figured that I'd go ahead and register for an account, and post more regularly.

So... Here it is. I'm a debt collector. Obviously, I'm not goign to tell you which CA I work for, but I don't think we're a group of assholes, and I certainly know that I'm not. I'm not NoNonsenseCollector-ish at all. In fact, I'm really hoping to use my superpowers for good. I'm not goign to tell you to STFU and fork over your cash, but I will try and help you out as much as I possibly can. And, on the plus side, I have the testicular fortitude to register an account instead of posting as a guest. Because I'm a real boy. And I can take the heat. Etc.

So if I help you out, cool. If I show you that we're not all douchebags, even better.

I will be the first one to welcome a CA and to give you the benefit of the doubt. I am sure we will see where you stand in no time at all.

It will be nice to have another honest collector here to counter the horde of CA thugs that love to come here and lay siege to our nice little corner of the web.

Welcome to the forum OPArsenal. I don't care if your a collector. As long as you conduct yourself civilly then there shouldn't be any problem. We have a few collectors already registered with our forum (FYI and Debt Cruncher for starters) I respect them, mainly because they show respect to others (unless someone give them reason to do otherwise) I'll be happy to give you the benefit of doubt as well.

Hey, I love everyone. Until they act stupid and post asinine BS like Nonsense!

We generally like to carry on intelligent, logical "conversations" but will not hesitate to pile on someone that's being just plain stupid.

For the record though, we don't think all collectors are unwashed, Godless savages. We know most of them have to be honest, respectful representatives of their CA while they do their jobs within the law. Unfortunately, we seem to hear about the "naughty" ones all too often, overshadowing the honest ones. This forum probably wouldn't even be necessary if they all followed the letter of the law.

So, again, welcome. Glad you're here.
