I got a phone call from "Inspector" Bill Stewart with Graham Noble and Associates and boy was it illegal. Not only did he give out my name, birth date, and social security number to me before he knew it was me but he also threatened to have me arrested (as if). I don't know where this guy got his info from, but I would sure like to get his. What I don't know about, is why he is "filing charges" against me in Texas when I have never lived in Texas. The original creditor is based in Texas but this account is well past the SOL in Utah (4 years) and is in the last year on my credit report. He proceeded to tell me that I should think about where I wanted to put my kids (since he "knew" I had kids) and what a bad parent I was. He got irate when I wouldn't say what he wanted me to say. I never acknowledged the debt and just kept saying "what is this in regards to". Pretty funny if you ask me. He claimed that he had all the information he needed and said the Sheriff would be at my door in a few days. Yeah right. This guy and Graham Noble and Associates needs to be shut down or at least fined. The business licence in Utah has even expired. Anyone else deal with these people?

Sound like a bunch of morons to me. At least you weren't fooled by Graham Noble and Associates. They are just bottom feeding scum. Pretty much everything out of that mans mouth was a blatant lie.

Oh it is also past the SOL of Texas as well.

You should have recorded that call...you have him on a bunch of violations.

Inspector would imply detective? Possibly have him nailed for impersonating a officer too. I would say file a report at your local police department and see if Graham Noble and Associates would be willing to do a 3 way call, or a conference call with them and record it. Should have some interesting results.

U KNOW I JUMP FROM SITE TO SITE AND I NOW SEE THAT PROFESSIONAL DEBTORS LIVE ON LINE BUT WE CANT PAY OUR BILLS... ACTUALLY MOST OF YOU ARE RIGHT WE CANT BE ARRESTED BUT UNFORTUNALY IF A DEBT IS ON OUR CREDIT REPORT IT IS STILL IN STAT... WHICH MEANS THAT WE ARE LEGALLY LIABLE... BUT I GUESS WE KNOW THAT BECAUSE WE ARE AFTER ALL PROFESSIONAL DEBTORS. WE WANT PEOPLE TO STOP CALLING US ABOUT THE BILLS WE USE AND DONT PAY... THEN PAY THE BILLS BEFORE THEY GET OUT OF HAND!!! SIMPLE RITE??? NAH TECHNICALLY WE ARE STEALING DID YOU KNOW THAT??? WE ARE BORROWING GOODS AND SERVICES AND MONEY FROM LARGE COMPANIES AND DONT PAY THEM BACK SO THAT MAKES US A BUNCH OF CROOKS!!! BUT HEY WE DONT PAY WE JUST CRY TO OUR ATTYS THAT THEY SAID THIS AND THEY SAID THAT AND WE CONTINUE TO STEAL AND THINK THATS COOL... HEY IF THATS WHAT MAKES U FEEL BIG THEN SO BE IT... SO WE ENJOY THE THINGS WE BUY AND THEN DONT PAY FOR... SO THINK ON THIS WHEN YOU WRITE YOU CUTE LITTLE CEASE AND DESIST LETTERS REMEMBER THAT IF WE PAID OUR BILLS ON TIME PEOPLE LIKE THIS WOULDNT EXSIST BUT HEY YOU DONT AND THEY DO...

OH AND BY THE WAY SO YOU PEOPLE ON HERE DONT GET TOO CONFORTABLE>>> JUST BCUZ AN ACCOUT IS OUT OF STAT U ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR IT, THING IS THEY CANT TAKE YOU TO COURT BUT HEY YOU STILL OWE THE MONEY BACK>>>> IN FACT LOOK AT IT LIKE THIS... YOU LENT SOMEONE TO BUY SOMETHING AND YOU MAKE AN AGREEMENT THIS MUCH DUE BACK BY THIS DATE AND IF YOU ARE LATE THIS MUCH INTEREST>>>> WELL IF THEY DONT PAY YOU WHAT DO YOU DO FORGET??? FIND THAT PERSON AND COLLECT ON IT??? TAKE THEM TO COURT???? OR JUST LET IT GO IF YOU DONT GET IT BACK AND TAKE A LOSS???? THINK ON THAT WHILE YOU ARE DIPPIN AND DODGING THE DREADED COLLECTORS, I DO!! THEN THINK BACK TO WHEN YOU SIGNED YOUR NAME TO THAT CARD AND BY DOING THAT A FORMAL CONTRACT WAS SIGNED THE MINUTE U USED THE CARD OR BOUGHT THE THINGS U NEEDED. SO IF YOU DONT LIKE BEING HARRASSED ABOUT MONEY YOU SPENT I WILL REPEAT MYSELF.. PAY THE BILL... OR STOP CREATING THE MESS U CALL CREDIT

Nice grammar, wish I would have thought of typing in all caps since I am such an idiot. BTW, I pay my debts, but I always ask for validation first so I know I am paying the right people. Once I know they are the right people to pay then I am more than happy to sit down and start talking about making arrangements to pay off what I owe. Most of my debts were generated at a time after I had a car accident, I used to work as a Emergency Medical Technician-Basic. I made between 300-500 dollars a week, I lived comfortably had a few things in my name (cell phone, a credit card, etc.) however on 9/1/06 I was involved in a car accident leaving me with some spinal injuries which stuck me with a permanent 50lb lift restriction. I'm still getting my life together and since that time some of those things I have not been able to pay some of my bills as other life necessities have to come first. (the only reason I have internet is because it is where I live) sure I owe money to some collection agencies and I am taking care of it, the ones that want to play by the law I handle professionally. Simply (as I have stated before) I request validation so that I know I am paying the right entity then I talk about paying it and attempt to resolve it as quickly as possible. The ones that don't want to conduct business legally are dealt with accordingly.

Before you go onto a public forum (despite the fact that you have the shield of anonymity called a computer) you should still try to treat some people with respect as you do not know for certain whom you are dealing with.

That said, unless you have anything constructive to add to any discussions in this forum I will not respond to any further posts from you. It appears you are a flamer here to cause grief (or a collection agency employee) makes one wonder what kind of person would search out websites just to post derogative comments, perhaps someone who thrives on creating conflict? At any rate I'm finished speaking to you unless you have something intelligent to add.

Regards

JCEMT

I'll chip in for the Hooked on Phonics course for PRFSSNL DTR. I think Gary Coleman is their new spokesperson.

You know what? You don't have to justify a darn thing. All these people who post things like this are likely just CAs themselves and have a bug up their butt about all of us getting educated about our rights and putting our foot down about all the abuse and illegal tactics. Does he even mention all the illegal things the CAs do? No. Does he mention anything at all about how CAs STEAL peoples money when those people don't even owe it? Of course not.

I say we should from now on totally ignore posts like this, don't even dignify it with a response....post something like...

Wow...who farted?

I want to say that good debt collectors are good debt collectors.
Prfssnl dtr is a type of bad debt collector that bad collections hired to harassed innocent people and
Non debtors either.
Ltd 77074,portfolio recovery, arm ,nco and many others collections agencies are getting rich
Because they hired this type of collectors, like
Mr prfssnl dtr.
Thanks all fantastic members of this forum for help
Us always.

what cracks me up is that these people waste their time on this sight thinking someone will actually care about their berating comments and opinions!---DTR--you are obviously upset that people are learning their rights and won't put up with your verbal abuse at your day job so now you surf the debt sights and try to throw in some more of your bad behavior anonymously? Also you should try anger management in your spare time to help you deal with those Caps posts' issues!

Real genius there with the all caps response. That post is one of the main reasons our site exists. We are here to educate consumers on their rights concerning credit.By the way collector,if someone at home needs to eat you will most definitely be waiting in line.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Inspectior Bill Stewart of Graham Noble and Associates, what an intimidating, threatening liar. I was told better pay some loan my ex took out 10 years ago because a fraud suit was already pending in my county against me. This guy was full of lies or totally illegal according to fdcpa, but I got screwed, I had unauthorized funds taken from my account. When contacting Graham Noble & Associates they hung up on me and told me to take them to court. What a sleeze operation. They have not heard the last from me. PO'd in AZ
