An experience I had with attorney handling FDCPA violations

I just wanted to relate to the board a recent experience I had with a Florida attorney named Matthew Dolman, who handles fdcpa violations. We approached Mr. Dolman in March as my wife and I were being harassed by General Revenue Corporation (collecting on behalf of Sallie Mae, NCO-financial, afni and Creditors Interchange. At the time of our first appointment, General Revenue and NCO were collectively calling me no less than ten times a day combined. Within three business days the calls stopped completely. Mr. Dolman filed lawsuits against three of the collection agency's and each one settled for a rather generous amount of money considering the violations. Furthermore, two of the creditors have agreed to cut my debt by more than 50% to offset the violations and still covered his attorney fees.

I could not be happier right now. I used to dread my phone ringing. The calls have ceased and my piece of mind has returned. If you are looking for an Florida attorney handling FDCPA cases, look no further.

Do you have any contact information for Mr. Dolman? I'm in Florida too, and would like to keep his number in standby in case I ever need it.

I wonder if that was the attorney FrogPatch recommended to me that time. I left a few messages for him, and even talked to him once and he advised he would call me back in an hour. Well it's been a month or so now, still no phone call.

I wonder if that's an hour according to Dr. Who on TARDIS time?

his number is 941-961-9669 and his name is Matt Dolman....I would give him another try. Matt's only problem is he often operates outside his office as he is a courtroom attorney and he often takes calls and fails to write his messages down.. Believe me, I experienced it first hand. However, he is the only attorney I know who gives his cell # out as well as his office..His staff was pleasant and Matt seems like a genuinely nice man. The results show that the proof is in the pudding...He seemd to be all over the place when I dealt with him, yet all I care about are the results he produced......

I believe their main office is in Boca Raton and their main number is 561-278-6750. I believe Matt operates out of Clearwater and his office is off of Route 19.

That was another concern I wanted to talk to him about also. I live in Jacksonville, which is probably about 4 to 5 hours away from either Boca Raton or Clearwater, so I wanted to make sure the distance was not too great for him to handle my case.

I'll probably give him another try again if I need to. Right now, things are kind of quiet in the CA phone call department, so I'm happy.

Of course, it could just be the calm before the storm!

From my understanding....he handles cases statewide.....I believe they have offices in Boca Raton, Ft. Lauderdale, Sarasota and Clearwater and I believe he will go anywhere.....

He loves suing collection agencies....

i am currently working with him. i haven't gone too far because of his timing and schedule being book. he seems like a nice guy with patient for newbies like me. i am timid about giving him my information before i actually meet him in person. have you met him?
