my nightmare started with a mr. lomax ,called me at my work and said he would be at my home in the morning to arrest me for theft of a musical instrument once i agreed to give him my chcking account info, not knowing he is in fla. i in pa.
now 5 months latter i missed a payment threats have returned i requested he send me a letter with beging balance payments made and balance owed, his response waas he dont have to send me *#*# ! and hung up on me now what do i do i have aready paid them 5or6 hundred dollars. made me cry the first time not gonna let him bully me no more

Please don't get scared of the empty threats. Do as cajun said. Write the DV letter to the collection agency because they are bound to follow the FDCPA laws
See the section on Harassment and abuse. Perhaps, you can build up a legal case after recording their phone calls. Make sure you have checked the laws in your state before recording the calls. Here is the link to the FTC website.
