Who is Elliott Marshall. I called and he stated that he was a lawyer and had given my info to a process server. I was told that I am now in serious trouble and would be paying big legal bills. Anyone heard of him?

this is more than likely a humanoid employee of NRS as nobody will call and give you a heads up like that.this place is a bottomfeeder.don't hold your breath waiting to be served as it won't happen.i would file AG and FTC complaints against NRS,and send a DV(debt validation0letter certified mail return receipt to NRS asap.bottomline,he is not a lawyer and broke the call when he told you he was.

Glad I took the time to look up this company and find that I am not the only person they have been rude to and used unethical collection practices with! This is the most unproffessional company I have ever delt with! I had a debt through At&t and when I called to make payment arrangements they told me that I only had two months to pay before the debt was to be sent to another agency and I would be charged more. One person even told me that I was full of sh!t and to go get my checkbook! Finally I get in contact with a supervisor to find out I could split my bill into 4 payments which was more reasonable. Hope I never have to deal with this horrible company again!

Got a call from them that I owed the hospital and they were collecting on their behalf. Told them they were crazy and I had made a payment agreement with the hospital to pay them monthly. Told them the hospital was about 5 miles from my house and that my brother-in-law was a doctor at said hospital. Oh, by the way I got my monthly bill from the hospital the day NRS called and I told them I had already sent the payment to the hospital. This company (NRS) is a fraud and the people here defending them probably work for them.

I received a call from Nationwide today that threw me off. They said I owed $52.00 on my AT&T bill that went to them for collections. I have 4 phone numbers with AT&T presently. I thought it was from the transfer of my account from the ST. Thomas / Puerto Rico market to the states. They told me it was- but I explained that I transferred the phone number and all roll over minutes- why would the balance not transfer? And if I owed- why wouldn't they shut off my existing accounts?
Against my better judgment (I was in a rush and started to panic about a bad mark on my credit) I gave the manager, Ms. Parker, my cc number to pay the debt under the condition she would be sending me an email stating that she was removing this debt from my credit completely. She told me it would be in my inbox within an hour. This was 10 hours ago. This debt is also not on my credit reports but they have already charged my card. Is this a scam? What can I do?

You didn't do the right thing by giving them your credit card number. It would have been better if you could have asked them to validate the debt. Moreover, the debt is not even mentioned in your credit report. I personally think this is a scam and you may think of taking legal help in this matter.

I had these BOZOS calling me at my parents house. When I called and demanded they take me off the list they laughed, but it wasn't the last laugh! I proceeded to call THEM repeatedly and insisted on talking to the manager. I was told that the person talking WAS the manager, when I asked his name he refused to give it and hung up. Since he didnt tell me his name, I proceeded to call him Mr. FECES (DONT CURSE, they can report you to the fcc) and called over and over again (he kept hanging up) till he finally removed me from the calling list and threatened to report ME for harassment. Told him," hope he enjoyed his own medicine" and never heard from them again. Guess the $106 I owed wasnt worth it. LMAO I have PAID the money I owed (for an electric bill) and still am laughying at these fools.FYI, A LOUD blast with a police whistle works well too.

This company NRS has been calling me several times a day threatening me over a 200.00 dollar bill that I made payment arrangements with personally with AT&T Mobility. I have a serious problem with an organization that agreed to the 50.00 a month terms. I have records and proof of payment but NRS continues to call..

If you have a payment arrangement with the original creditor, you should call them and find out why a collection agency is contacted you about it. If they tell you that the account is not with any collection agency, then you can send NRS a cease & desist letter.

to the man that sues' people for a living....you sue debt collectors for a living??-- lol get a life. a real job. you all are talking shit about debt collectors well dont write checks that your dumb ass's cant cash. lol PAY YOUR BILLS its that simple dont talk shit about NRS nationwide recovery systems- hell n for you all that say they are no real go to nrs.us - yes they are very real and for all of you that have current service anytime you make a change to your account whether it be adding/removing a line or changing your phone number att doesnt do combined billing so your balance that you had before the change will be the one thats at NRS because you have failed to pay once again YOUR BILL! --- and for the ones that claim you had a original payment secured with the client - att'; txu'; who ever your bill is for can only keep your account for 4-5 months before they send it to NRS;; p.s. u all look like jack ass's paying 20 dollars 50 dollars a month on a 500-1000 dollar bill...

your post is typical of your stupid humanoid ilk.first off don't talk to anyone about reall jobs as your wormslime bottomfeeder routinely breaking the law with your calls is hardly legitimate work.second i see a few lawsuits for your bottomfeeder coming as you have been sued before.it's just there is always a settlement.the "cost of doing business"you call it.btw a real person uses the word you,not the letter lazy a$$.the real reason things like you post is because we do question more than ever and you can't handle it.instead of coming on here and looking the fool.why don't you hit the phones drone.before nobody just pays you because you are calling and lying about who you are to get a cheap payday.

I just received a call from them, and my experience wasn't so bad. The girl I spoke to wasn't nice - but far from rude. I didn't have to give my social security number, just verify my name and phone number, and they told me what the debt was for. It happened to be for the anesthesia for my son when he was just born in December, which should have been covered by Medicaid. I gave them his Medicaid information and she said she'd take care of it. Maybe I was just lucky, I know they can be awful!

NRS is a reputable company that does a great job. I am an employee here to help if you want help. Most of us have been in similar situation as far as debt goes and sometimes need help in figuring out a viable way to get it resolved. That is what we do if given a chance. Everyone in this life has a job to do, some of us do it well and some of us do not. Just remember this, who is calling us the bottom feeders, is it someone that has had a problem and has no intention of fixing the problem, or is it someone that has had a problem and sincerely wants help getting it resolved? You can't help anyone that can't help their self. Respect you bill collector and they will respect you and hopefully help get you out of a difficult situation.
