I am being contacted often by CBE Group of Iowa. I have no idea of the source of the debt they are trying to collect. It could be Mayo Clinic. Should I call Mayo first? If I call CBE, should I give them my mailing address or any other info. They are calling neighbors and familly where I grew up. Has been reported to collection agencies.

You can ask the CBE Group to validate the debt in writing. Then you can know whether or not you really owe any money to them. You can also have an idea about the total debt amount. You can know whether or not they have assigned with the Mayo account. Don't reveal any confidential information to them in a hurry.
