please help....-

....the father of my 2 oldest children has started and built up a collections agency up here in Alaska (up in Anchorage...-kids and I are in Seward )-

-he has used this increasingly to control and harrass me, for the past 10 years...-I am at my wit's end.....

-he got away with abusing my 2 oldest boys, for years...-case opening back up, thankfully....- YEARS of hurt, and rage...

-his business is called "Alaska Court Collections"...


-it is not licensed legally...-his corporation (KALO INC) is doing business as "Alaska Collections"....and.....he is a convicted felon.....

-he has bought a debt on me from another state (in 2003....from 1996...it was around $400 dollars).....to just "sit on" to accrue interest, and give him license to feel free to run my credit report.....
-he has submitted my credit report (that he obtained from "his company") to the state of alaska child custody investigators......and filed my private info. within the child custody proceedings....

-we have not lived together since 1997-


-his "ex-wife" ,(Elizabeth Dubey) who he still lives with , holds the "collection agency occupational license"....(she has nothing to do with his collection agency) ..... he does hold the title of " registered agent", though...

-he also has a business under the guise of "KALO Computer Services".....

-"Elizabeth Dubey" takes all the tax write offs.....she claims that "KALO" is a corporation based in Las Vegas....
-and she files the tax returns for KALO(doing business as Alaska Court Collection)...for her sole write-off....

-his name is Kevin Ray O'Connell......in Anchorage Alaska...
-his felony convictions are out of Kodiak...more, from Kenai-


-he participates in and takes advantage of all of the public health and social services ...



-he has lied under oath and perjured himself in court, in our custody hearings.....-producing bogus filings.....yet, also admitting that he is the only one who has ever had anything to do with "Alaska Court Collections"....-PROOF that he is illegal, and a fraud.....according to the Alaska State Statutes, for collection agencies...-THIS is highly illegal...

-also, he has garnished my accounts/wages numerous times, for years, using "Alaska Court Collections"...for HIS SOLE PERSONAL BENEFIT-)

-this has got to stop-

-I seriously have pondered suicide a few times, over this monster(I am not the only one he has harassed up here...-look up "Kimberely Crisafulli", I think that is how she spells here name-)

I don't even know where to start. This is so beyond anything even remotely evil! You should take all the documentation you have and take it to the police and file harassment charges against this guy..that is what I would do.

Hell, I would sue his butt sideways while I was at it.

I would also send him a DV letter even if he is your ex. He has to provide you with DV or stop all collection efforts.

would that not be a conflict of interest being he's your ex trying to collect from you on a purchased debt? Can anyone say Creeeeepy....

I'd be cautious to write stuff about him though....he seems the type to get you on slander as well...something else you don't need at this point.

Also, they CAN'T garnish without a court order..this is highly illegal. Has he ever taken you to court and won a judgement?

He has broken federal laws left and right and if you have the documentation, you should fight back. If you don't..start! Send him a DV letter on this debt, make him prove it (which I am betting he can't)

Get bank statements that show his numerous garnishment attempts, or get the information from your work.

Start building up a case against him and take him to court for as much as your state will allow in small claims...

Not to mention, I would still go to the police with all this.....

i came in early this morning from work and read your thread then....and while i really wanted to respond, I just needed some sleep first!

WOW.....just WOW.....

OK, heres the first thing you need to do ASAP--you need to gather together all the documentation you have about the wage garnishments he has put against you. Gather all of it together, you will need to show every garnishment and the total amounts taken each time. Then you need to contact the Federal Trade Commission IMMEDIATELY and file a formal complaint. From what you have said, this is VERY illegal and the FTC doesnt play around in cases like this.

You will also need that same proof because what you should do is file suit against him for that money back. If there was no court hearing, and you were not sued on any debts that he was collecting for, then you have a VERY good case to get a judgment against HIM.

Finally, the debt he bought on you, well, he is well outside the statute of limitations on that debt. the statute of limitations in your state is either 3 or 6 years depending on the type of debt it is....so from the 1990s is well outside that. Unless he has taken you to court and won a legitimate lawsuit he cannot garnish anything legally. Since he has played like this with everything else, you really should check to see if a lawsuit was filed against you. With what youre describing, I wouldnt put it past him to file suit and have you served at a wrong address so he could get the default judgment. Check with the court clerk in your county, and it wouldnt hurt to check in any other counties where you may have lived before too.

Above all, gather together any documentation you can--paystubs, anything-- and call the FTC right away!

oh, one more thing--you mentioned that he is ruining your credit report with that old debt. it is well past the reporting time for this debt, by federal law it can no longer be reported on your credit file. the time goes from when it first became delinquent, and it can stay on for a total of 7.5 years from that date, so if youre telling me it was past due in 1996, theres no way in the world that it should still be showing up on your report. Pull your credit reports, all three of them, and tell us how it is reported there. I would dispute this with the credit bureaus ASAP telling them that this debt should have fallen off your credit report five years ago....
