Recieved a dozen or more calls from a company that called themselves FRS, from Edina, MN. They kept stating that this was in regards to a letter we sent. Call back.
Interesting though, because letter claimed, was NEVER RECIEVED.
However, I went ahead and filed several local and federal No Call complaints against them. Stating at least 3-4 dates/times they called. Stating letter claimed sent never recieved.
FTC sent me letters, providing me with some info, and letting me know who I had to contact regarding the matter. Have heard nothing about local complaint at this time.
But, I actually recieved a letter from FRS a couple days ago! Said their client is offering a SUBSTANCIAL DISCOUNT on the claim. From well over $950 down to well over $300.
Even then, I believe this claim is out of SOL anyway.
As soon as I get the chance, I'm gonna send a DV letter CM-RRR requiring them to provide legit proof of said claim.
I'm surprised they actually have the ability to send a letter this time. Because obviously, they must have been contacted in regards to my complaint being filed.
Has anyone else recieved calls, from ANY company, regarding a letter you never got?? And what did you do as a result?
Information always appreciated!
Thanks.
