Title says it all!!!! I just got this letter from NCO in response to my DV letter I sent.

WHAT!!! THAT'S GREAT!!! I am so happy for you! Isn't it great when the system works! I'll tell you, I have learned so much here! I sent them a DV letter not too long ago, and I hope I get the same results! Congratulations.

WOOOHOOO!!! Way to go! NCO is a tough one to work with.
The funny thing about them was, several years ago they called me on an account-I owed it, and they had the proper documentation. They were really nice, really good to work with. Years later, they call me on another account. I say to them, you had a previous account, we set up payments-blah-blah. This time I got Satans' bouncer, and they were really,really ugly!! Refused to talk with me, etc..I finally got things straightened out with them
Hopefully, this is a good omen, that they are going to start playing by the rules!!

congradulations, hopefully no one else will pick up the debt and run with it. I think it is great that you got them to go the extra step and take it off your credit report. I would send a copy of that letter to all three credit reporting agencies myself just to make sure it happens. great job!
