I was taken to court by LVNV funding about two months ago where i asked the judge to have them validate the debt. After court I sent a letter for validation and they ended up dropping the suit against me, but still have heard nothing form them regarding the validation. Now i just got a letter form northland group regarding the same debt, they say they are assigned the debt form LVNV funding. Can they do that if they still havent validated the debt???

You need to contact the courthouse and find out the status of your case. You need to find out if it is still pending. LVNV are sneaky b*%st@rds, so you need to be keeping close tabs on this. Who was representing LVNV in your case? WW&R? Was your request to validate in writing to the court? If so, they have violated since it sounds like validation was not provided and they have farmed it out to Northland. Did you send in a formal request for Production of Documents or a standard DV? Just trying to understand the situation.
