Does LVNV Funding have any parent corporations?
According to RULE 1:21. Corporate Disclosure Statement on Possible Judicial Conflict of Interest.

(a) Who Must File. In civil and criminal cases in the Trial Court and appellate courts, any nongovernmental corporate party to a proceeding must file a statement identifying all its parent corporations and listing any publicly held corporation that owns 10% or more of the party's stock or stating that there is no such corporation. In a criminal case, if an organization is a victim of the alleged criminal activity, the government must file a statement identifying the victim and if the victim is a corporation providing the information required by this paragraph.

The attorney for LVNV Funding said and I quote:

Parent Corporation of Plaintiff:NONE

Publicly held corporation(s) owning 10% or more of Plaintiff's stock: NONE

OK I think I found an answer. Sherman Financial Group is the main company with all the other companies under them. Radian Group Corp owns about 21.8% of Sherman Financial Group and MGIC owns about 24.2% of Sherman Financial Group.

Management owns the remaining 54% of the company.

So does it appear the attorney lied? BBB lists sherman financial group and lvnv funding as the same company along with resurgent capital services.
