I opened this account back in 1998 or so when I was an undergraduate and I live in Texas. I hope this helps! Thank you so much.

Texas SOL is 4 years. All you need to do is bring up SOL as a defense and it will get tossed out the window.

I can do that even though they claim to have had a response from me on May 12, 2005?? They say therefore, the statues of limitations hae not expired. Could they have "re-aged" this to their advantage? Isn't this illegal? Can I sue them as well???? I would think I can get something out of this.

Doesn't matter what "response" they got from you, the SOL clock starts running from the last date of payment.
If they file suit against you then demand them to prove the SOL has not expired, if they can't then motion to dismiss with prejudice.
