I think my collection calls might be starting from the PDL companies. Has anyone heard of MCO?

It is probably NCO. I have had them calling me too even after sending them a debt validation and cease communication letter. The are rated at this link as "Americas Worst." Go here to read.

They left a voice mail message for me to call them. I guess I will call them back and see if I can get an address to send the letter to. Not looking forward to it!

Hang on. One of us has an address for them, we'll get it posted soonest. Or, you could search the forums, using the search box in the top/right corner of the page. NCO is not a new problem. Lots of us have dealt with them over the years.

Thanks.. I've searched some of the previous posts but haven't seen an address so far. If I send them a certified DV letter do I need to call them?

FYI Love the incognito.. I was afraid to read what a "guest" might have to say!

Post the phone number, and let us have a look at it. We can usually find out who called from that. If you have trouble understanding the number as spoken by the rep, dial star-six-nine on your phone. That will give you the number of your last incoming call, the date, and the time it came in.

As for the incognito... Like I was telling Shazzers, I was short on time, but saw something that needed input.

Also, you can check the number you were given against the numbers listed in the link Frogpatch posted for you. Good luck, and let us know what you find out. We'll help you however we can.

I've gotten SEVERAL calls, from NCO. I don't even remember the numbers, though. I have Caller ID..if I don't recognize the number that is calling, I don't answer the phone. THEN..I listen to the message.I've had NCO call on A FEW different #800 numbers. However...when I listen to the messages, they give me a different number ENTIRELY< to call back on.

Google the number, and look for hits on sites like 800notes.com and whocalled.us. It's amazing what turns up sometimes.

They called from 800-877-4127 and I tried to call them lasxt night to see what the call was in reference to. I was on hold, with music, for about 5 minutes before I decided to hang up.

I'm trying to google it now... I'll try thr 800notes.com too. Does anyone know if they collect for PDL's?

800notes was the best.. this is what they have listed:

collection company for medical bills
NCO Financial Systems
140 Sprint Drive
Blountsville, TN 37617

I'm not really sure of any unpaid medical bills that I have so I think I will call them and get some answers.

Just don't let'em buffalo you. Stay firm, get enough info to send them a DV, and hang up. Then hit'em with the letter.
