i have received 2 letters stating that if i pay 106.49 my credit report will be updated but i cannot find any info on mcm to see if they are legit can anyone help me??

send a dv and limited c&d letter.the company should be more specific than that.if they fail to comply,then they are a fly by night,ham and egger CA.if that is the case.someone should be able to help in that respect.

As for the letter, you can find a good template for a debt validation letter (including the partial C&D) via my signature. Send it certified mail, return receipt requested. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask.

I have some information on MCM. They had an account for me and sold it to another CA. I can most def. give you some info. I am at work right now but I can send you the info later when I get home.

I may be the exception to the rule (norm) but I was able to settle an account with midland a couple of years ago. They were also helpful later when I had lost my evidence that the account was settled and faxed me a letter on request. They gave me no problems at all.......I know it's odd
