Are these calls coming form the CC companies in-house collection department or a 3rd party collection agency? If it is the CC's own in-house collections, they are not required to give you the mini-miranda. What state do you live in? There are some states that have a mirror to the fdcpa with concern to OC's.

It's the CC's in-house collector's that are calling and hanging up on me and not reading the Mini Miranda.

Per the fdcpa, the OC is not required to quote the mini miranda.

No matter what, remember, this is a CIVIL matter and NOT a criminal one. The CC company that is currently threatening me is telling me that I have got it all wrong and that debt is a criminal offense. Well, guess I'm off to the mythical debtor's prison!
