Is Mitchell N. Kay a reputable law office that handles debt and collections or is it a scam? I have a desire to pay my account balance but, I would like to be certain about them before I pay anything.

I had a Victoria Secret and NY and Company cc that went to their collections office. I paid them off back in 2004 and they reported it on my credit report lately.

This is before i found this message board. You can do a search on this company on this site and read more about what others went through with them.

Thankfully, i had a good experience and they were true to their word for me.

Be wary dealing with Mitchell Kay. I would get any agreement in writing. If they are reporting, then request a deletion or a pays as agreed notation. If you are settling for less than the full amount, stipulate that they not sell off the remaining balance. If you can't get it in writing....NO DEAL!
