CA question

If you offer to make monthly payments to a CA/Law Firm (if they turned it over to one)don't they legally have to accept this? Or do you have to pay in the lump sum they told you they would accept over a few months? Just curious because of the situation I'm in. Thanks

They are not obligated to accept anything unless agreement goes through a court system. Get arrangements made in writing so the both of you can benefit from a written contract.

Get an agreement in writing with the CA for the payments you are willing to send. They do not HAVE to accept any payments you send as "satisfying" the debt. If you've already sent them one or more payments, and they have been accepted by them, make sure those have been applied towards you balance so far.
