You will probably have to pay the court cost also, will you show up and fight this lender? Who is the original creditor and who do they have representing them.
Some things to remember is to always answer a summons so they don't win by defualt. Show up so they don't win by default and make them prove that you owe the debt. Do you owe the entire amount that they are seeking? Have you done debt validation? Make sure that you are getting a fair shake on this too.
