I'm not sure if I ever post this or not but I had experience with them also. A few months ago I received a refund from my school. It was the weekend and I didn't feel like waiting on my bank to open. (I think Monday was President Day so I had to wait a few days for it to clear.) I went to my local Walmart to cash this check. I was denied and I called up their 800 number to ask why. I had my problems with pdl places and wanted to see if this was the reason why. They claim that I was not in their system and next time I went to Walmart to cash the check I will be able to. I haven't had to cash a check at Walmart so I'm not sure if it’s ok or not.

This is both fascinating and disturbing. Please let us know what there reply was. This would make a good story for the TV consumer news groups. I would try contacting them for help!
