I am hoping that I won't need this info, but at what point in the continuing saga does a DV letter come in to play? UFC is relentless and I am just trying to get my ducks in a row and stay one step ahead of them.

Hi llw-Debt Validation is a statute of the FDCPA which applies to 3rd party collection agencies. You can DV an original creditor....worth a shot, but there isnt a statute that would hold an original creditor to have to validate.

Hey VB Mom....I don't think I will go after UFC but if it goes to collections, I will. I wanted to know the process so, if and when I get the contact, I will know where to go from there. The BBB is being of no assistance with this so I am pretty much on my own. I have contacted the AG's office again and I copied UFC in so I will wait on another contact from either, or both of them.
