Out of control collection agents

What can we do about these out of control collection agents? I was recently contacted about a debt I owe. Yeah, I owe the money, but as I explained to the dummy, it's not a priority with me right now. He had the gall to insist that I should pay. So I did the proper thing. I told him where he could stuff his unpaid debt with detailed anatomical descriptions. I gave him a few more anatomical suggestions as well, and additionally some for his wife, kids, and dog, and then slammed the phone down.

I didn't hear anything for a while, so I figured the idiots got the message. But yesterday I was served with notice I am being sued by these clowns. Who do they think they are?

You are probably a troll but just in case you are not...

Sorry, but IMHO you brought this on yourself. You admit you owe the debt but it is not YOUR priority. Well HIS priority is that you pay it. Was he rude to you? You dont say whether he said or did anything wrong other than asking you to pay a bill.

If you owe a bill, you should try to pay it. The only thing anyone here finds objectionable is the tactics that SOME ca's use. If this CA didn't violate the FDCPA then he was in his right to do his job.
However, I have a suspicion that you're trolling...

If the debt is your and nothing seems wrong (like if the amount were to be off) then you should make every opportunity to pay it (I generally try to get validation that way I have in writing all the information I need to know that they are entitled to collect legally) Provided that, if it's yours and you know you owe it to them then just try to work something out. If they don't want to work with you then just pay what you can afford each paycheck.

BTW, that was my honest advice, but the way you posted (agreeing with the two previous members that responded) it looks kinda like something a troll would post in order to berate/mock people.

Anyone here notice that seems to be the most common problems with the bad collectors. Major superiority complex (calling themselves collectors and everyone else consumers as if they thought they were better than everyone else)

Anyway, if you honestly need help I've given my advice and if you have any further questions feel free to ask.

Guys, I'd be willing to bet this is "Nonsense" again. I'm thinking it just cannot get enough of us this week and just had to post some more drivel.

I've seen and ignored a cople of other threads that were probably authored by this loser here today also.

Hopefully it will take the weekend off as I am really starting to lose my patience with this moron.

Still, it is nice to be loved by someone though, as "Nonsense" so obviously does.
