does a collection agency have to be listed on a summons as either a assignee along with orginal creditor or just themselves if they have bought the debt?

i guess what i am saying if they are working for OC the summons has to have them on it as assignee.instead of just having the OC and the attorney as plantiffs

Hi and welcome to the forum. Smile
It depends on whether or not the CA is even involved in the case. If the CA is collecting for the OC and the CA gets the go ahead to file suit, then yes, the CA, OC, and attorney would be listed in the summons.
