Has any one ever heard of a company called UCR litigation, there number is 888-358-1920. I received a phone call from them on tuesday stating that they had a summons for me to appear in court on trying to defraud a financial institute and fraudulant checks. I got a 300.00 loan and paid them back 900.00 before I closed my checking account. they state I still owe them 169.00 dollars and demanded that I give them a debit card to post a payment on by the 1st or they would have to bill me another 200.00 for filing the summons. After thinking about this I got to realizing I think it was a scare tactic. Any suggestions. Should I let the payment go through? Thanks for any help if you can provide any.

of course you should not let the payment go through.this place is piece of garbage that can't and won't do a thing.it was a scare tactic.now if you gave these idiots a debit card number.have your bank cancel it and issue you a new one.then file a police report for the harrassment.because that's what this is.then file AG,and FTC against both the lender, and the bottomfeeding slime.then do not talk to them again.they are scammers, and it's not worth it to engage them.

I took a loan out from this company back in 2006 or 2007 for I am thinking around $150. It should have been paid back a long time ago but they are still debiting my checking account every month for $88.00. I have contacted them several times disputing the debits and no one has contacted me. Should I just do a stop payment on my account for the debits or does anyone have any other ideas?
