The LA superior court charges 5 dollars to check if there's a law suit or judgment against me. I cna't afford to keep checking. The lady on the phone ran my name and told me that there are 3 cases under my name. One of them being from 2007 from some property place.

I ran all 3 credit reports recently and none of them have anything on there. I was evicted from an apartment back in 2004 because I fell on some hard times, so I don't know if that's me.

But if all 3 credit reports are clear, then does that mean I have no judgments? If a judgment was made against me in 2007, it would have been reported by now right?

If there was a judgement made against you in 2007 it would not necessarily show up on your credit report. They may not have reported it yet and maybe never will. This does not mean that they can not attempt to garnish the money owed to them at some point

Haven't you been contacted by the creditor or a collection agency for these judgements?

No I have not been contacted by anyone. Also I don't have a banking account right now so I don't have that garnishment problem to deal with...yet.

Should I just shell out the money and pay LA court for a record? If there was a mistake in that they didn't report it to the credit bureau, would a paid search prompt them to report it?

well, garnishment would be a court order to take money from your paychecks. you are free from bank levies but they could garnish your wages still.
can you just call the courts to see if they have anything in your name? most will tell you over the phone for free, i know you said they charge but maybe you could ask.. some states even let you look it up online for free.
